ID3 Tags Standardized October 22nd, 2007
From now on, all songs downloaded will have consistent ID3 tag entries. Song title, artist, album, track, and even the anime title and song type will embedded into ID3v2 tags.

Hangman, Gendou Style! August 29th, 2007
You can now play Gendou.com Hangman, which uses song names from the database for the hidden words! Special thanks to Emi for the artwork.

Lyrics System Upgrade August 18th, 2007
Some small changes have been made to the lyrics system:
  - Some lyrics links, karaoke versions for example, are references to the lyrics for another song, which are the same.
  - The "Discuss" tab has been upgraded to a cleaner format.

More Useless Coolness: Forum Map July 27th, 2007
I have added another interesting but pointless page to the website: Forum Map. The forum map is a radial projection of the forum database with circles depicting threads. The position, size, and color of the circles vary with the thread info.

Latest developments: I have compiled an animated GIF (4.6MB) showing the progression of the Forum Map over time. Also, there is a WMV animation (4.2 MB) of the User Map.

Hardware Failure May 21st, 2007
Yesterday there was hardware failure of the web server machine, and the website was moved to a new machine. This machine only has 3/4 the RAM of the old one, so some resources (like the radio, and downloads) will be offline or reduced in order to conserve resources during peak hours. New RAM has been ordered, and will be installed within a few days.

Anime Episodes Moved April 4th, 2007
The anime episodes server has changed from anime.gendou.com to animesheep.com for technical reasons. The interface with this site is still seamless. All that has changed is the domain name.
